Ballerina after hours
Those of you who follow this blog, or just accidentally stumbled upon the other outfits posts on here, you may have noticed: I am a bit of a fan of a tulle skirt. Actually so much so, that I design and hand dye them for a living. That's not an ad, but more like a "please forgive me and let me me explain" kind of thing. So here is yet another "how to wear a tulle skirt" blog entry. This time it's super casual. And it works!
I've paired it with my striped chunky knit and a navy blue bag, the skirt being "dusty lavender", put my curled hair up and put on my favorite and only pair of glasses (I need them for seeing things and people, but I mostly wear contact lenses) in purple ombre.
I was pretty tired when we shot this and wasn't really trying to pull of anything else. It's literally the look for someone who has been working the whole day and just needs to get a cup of coffee late in the evening. I sure did need one and got one.
I absolutely love wearing collared shirts under my knitwear. I feel it gives out the vibe of "preppy".
What do you think: can the tulle skirt be worn as casually as jeans? Not a chance? Let me know in the comments below!
Thanks for reading! Warm regards, Dulcinea
